LifeTrak · last updated 18 August 2026
LifeTrak ("we", "the app") is an expense tracker for life events, operated by Tronologic. This policy explains what we collect and how it's used.
What we collect
- Account details — your name and email address, used to create and secure your account. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes; we never see or store them in plain text.
- Your expense data — the events, expenses, categories, notes, and receipt images you choose to enter. This data exists so the app can show it back to you and to people you explicitly share an event with.
- Technical basics — a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- We do not read your expense data except as needed to operate the service or when you ask us for support.
- We do not send marketing email. Emails from LifeTrak are limited to account actions you initiate (verification codes, password resets).
Sharing between users
If you join an event via an invite link, the expenses you add there are visible to that event's other members, and theirs to you. Leaving is available on request; the event owner controls membership.
Offline data
Entries made offline are stored on your device until they sync. Clearing the app's site data removes this local copy.
Currency conversion
When you log an expense in a foreign currency, the app fetches exchange rates from a third-party rates API. Only the currency code is sent — never your amounts or personal details.
Data retention & deletion
Your data is retained while your account exists. To delete your account and all associated data, email support@lifetrak.app and we'll action it within 30 days.
